Welcome to Our Clinic!
Congratulations! If you're here, you're ready to take control of your health, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
At Soil to Soul Nutrition, we take a holistic approach, supporting the whole person—mind, body, heart, and soul.
A cancer or autoimmune diagnosis can be overwhelming, but you have more influence over your health than you might realize. Research increasingly shows that diet and lifestyle can play a role in managing chronic conditions. It’s about creating a healthy internal environment that supports your body's natural systems and overall well-being.
By changing your diet, lifestyle, environment, and self-care, you can make living with chronic illness more manageable.
We can help you use your health history, lab results, and genetic information to create a personalized plan that supports your body. Together, we'll identify underlying contributors to your condition and enhance the effectiveness of your wellness journey!
How Do I Know Which Diet is Right For Me?
Each body is a unique combination lock of factors regarding nutritional requirements, and they can change over time as the body and circumstances change. This is why there is so much confusion about which diet is correct and why every diet seems to have a cult following. Every diet is the proper diet...for some bodies.
We will work together to use YOUR data to zero in on the optimal diet for YOU based on YOUR unique situation and bio-individual nutritional needs. We are here to recommend, support, and educate—every step of improved nutrition is a step toward more vibrant health, and it's not just about food.

Service FAQs
Women are my focus simply due to the volume of Lichen Sclerosus cases I receive. However, I will work with men. On the oncology side of my business, I have many male clients.
Yes, within the context of my oncology nutrition services only. Due to the sensitive nature of these cases, an MTIH physician is required as the head of the cancer treatment team.

Yes! I do not see clients in person and work remotely with all of my clients. I have clients all over the world. We communicate via direct message through my online portal, and all sessions are video conference calls through Zoom.
Blood work will go through your doctor, and any functional lab kits will be shipped to your address and conducted in the privacy of your own home. Kits include pre-paid mailers, which can be dropped off at your local UPS or FedEx location. Work turnaround times vary from 1 to 5 weeks, depending on the lab.
I have all your lab kits mailed directly to you at home and will direct you to your doctor for blood work if you want it covered by insurance.
I like talking to potential clients first. I want to ensure we are a good fit for each other. I also want to hear your story and listen to what symptoms you have been experiencing. This way, I can better assess which package and tests might be best for you. Please apply to work with me by booking an intro consultation.
I currently do not accept insurance.
Functional lab assessments are often considered alternative medicine and are not covered under insurance.
You may get partial or complete coverage if your insurance pays for out-of-network labs. Few labs will submit to insurance, but most labs will provide you with a receipt, which you can turn in to your insurance to see if they will cover the cost.
Under many circumstances, you can use HSA (health savings accounts) to cover costs, but I recommend checking first to make sure.
Fees and lab fees are usually tax-deductible if you itemize health care costs. Check with your tax specialist to be sure.
I do not use templated protocols. All self-treatment plans are individualized based on your family and health history, lifestyle, symptoms, lab data, disease process details, and genetic data to help guide me in providing you with health-building strategies and drug-free, all-natural recommendations.
As long as it takes to get you feeling better. Everyone is so different and heals at different rates. It often depends on what you have going on. More complex situations can take a lot longer to heal. I work with clients for 6-18 months on average, but that may differ for you.
NO. While you are certainly welcome to discuss the possibility of weening off your medication with your doctor, I am not legally authorized to advise you to stop taking prescription medications. More importantly, discontinuing medications without the approval of a licensed medical professional can be detrimental to your health.
YES. You will still need to work with an oncologist (integrative, naturopathic, functional, conventional, or all of the above) to treat the symptoms of your cancering process (tumors). Nutritional therapy is not a cancer treatment.
In a sense, the healing process is like steering a massive ocean liner. While correcting your course by one or two degrees may not seem to alter your position, three months later, you find yourself in friendly, uncharted waters! This process is a work-in = work-out scenario. The more dedicated you are to your health and doing the work, the more positive outcomes you are likely to see.
Results are highly individual and may depend on 1) the length of time you’ve been experiencing chronic stress and 2) the degree to which the underlying stress has been present.
I cannot guarantee results; however, there are reasonable expectations that symptoms will resolve or partially resolve as you begin to untangle the web of root cause contributors to your disease process and optimize your terrain.
No, none of the suggested nutritional supplements you implement are included in my fees.
No, lab assessments that you choose for yourself beyond what is included in your initial package are not included in my fees.
My fees do not include any suggested healing supports that you choose to implement (e.g., red lights, saunas, water filters, etc.).
No, my fees do not include any ancillary support services you choose to implement (e.g., therapy, chiropractic care, Naturopathic Doctors, acupuncture, etc.).
Disclaimer for Cancer Patients
Heather does not consult on cancer treatment as she is not a licensed medical professional. Heather’s services are reserved for folks interested in working through nutrition, lifestyle, environment, and psychological changes to recover their health holistically, not treating anything specifically and everything non-specifically.
Once you sign up, we can provide referrals specific to your case details to a Metabolic Approach to Cancer practitioner trained by Dr. Nasha Winters, ND, FABNO, who can help you with non-standard-of-care treatment options.
You can find the protocol I used for my treatment here. I do not divulge supplement doses as they were specific to me and my case and are not helpful to others. I recommend against copying what has worked for others or DIY a plan. I have repeatedly witnessed this approach make things worse. In my opinion, the best way to address a cancer diagnosis is by doing as much research as you can and building a robust team of both conventional and alternative practitioners that cover mind, body, heart, and soul.
