I had the pleasure of sitting down with Even Transue on the Health Detective podcast and presenting at Holistic Health Week, both of which were put on by Functional Diagnostic Nutrition.

Health Detective Podcast
Cancer is one of the scariest diagnoses anyone can receive, and even those of us most dedicated to natural protocols might find ourselves at a crossroads if faced with it. But where is the middle ground? Deep down, we all know that cancer care shouldn’t be an either-or situation—strictly Western medicine or purely natural approaches—but figuring out where to draw the line can be incredibly challenging.
On this episode of the Health Detective Podcast, I had the opportunity to share my approach to bridging these two worlds. I work with clients daily who want the best of both standard of care and integrative medicine in their cancer care, helping them navigate a path that aligns with their health goals and personal beliefs.
We had a lively discussion about foundations that enable all treatments and therapies to work better and to keep the body healthy while undergoing treatment. The audience had a lot of great questions, and I had a great time. We also promoted the upcoming Holistic Health Week presentation about how non-licensed practitioners can help support those walking through cancer safely and within their scope of practice.
Holistic Health Week
Holistic Health Week is a free live virtual conference hosted annually by Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN). This incredible event brings together top experts in health, wellness, and functional medicine to share effective strategies for optimizing your health naturally and giving your clients the best, most lasting results.
It was an honor to be invited to present on the topic of how to safely support people with cancer within the scope of practice of an FDN or other non-licensed practitioner as well as provide resources for practitioners to gain additional specialized oncology training if they are interested in working with cancer clients.
If you're part of FDN, you can purchase the recordings of all of the sessions inside FDN Connect.
