I had the pleasure of sitting down with Cindy Kennedy at the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health to share how metabolic integrative oncology helped me avoid radiation and chemotherapy, as well as how the conventional system ultimately failed me.
This one gets into some of the more graphic details of my experience. I would listen with earbuds if you are in a public space, especially if men are in the room. If you're currently dealing with LS or vulvar cancer or have been through this journey yourself, you may also want to watch in a private space where you can honor any emotions that may come up for you. I've been through hell, and if you can identify it, this may be a tough watch.
Every time I share my story publicly, especially in this much detail, I can't believe that I'm out here talking about my most private of parts and my most intensely personal struggles. But I've made it my job to share and help others who are suffering from rare and complex chronic illnesses, including cancer and autoimmunity.
The Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health and Dr. Nasha Winters, along with many others in metabolic integrative oncology, are an incredible gift to those who know there is a better way to achieve natural and lasting healing of mind, body, heart, and soul.
I am grateful to be part of this community, working with clients on the front lines and carrying the burden of education and awareness to bring metabolic integrative oncology to the front lines of how we help patients regain their lives.
